When you have learned how to investigate or explore data and generate insights from it, for most people a disappointment is looming: if you simply show the plot and the data summaries that led to your exciting insight, most people will not understand your excitement, or even see, what you see!

The secret is that to actually bring across your discovery to others you have to transform it into a story. Particularly, visualisations need to be changed such that they essentially tell the story of your insight in one glance!

This course is aimed to equip you with the tools to create great stories with data and visualisation that make it easy for others (especially your stakeholders) to follow along and understand your findings.

This course will introduce participants to the structured problem solving method employed by Kufuu. You will learn how to:

• Translate a task into proper Terms of Reference;
• Analyse and explore relevant data for the problem;
• Split the problem into more manageable chunks;
• Collect missing information in a structured fashion;
• Analyse the resulting data;
• Draw conclusions from the analysis to prepare decisions;
